Why can't I start my Audi A3 after it has been sitting for a long time?

I have an Audi A3 and I noticed that if it sits unused for more than a week, I have trouble starting it. I have to press and hold the button for a few seconds before it finally starts. Why does this happen and is there a way to prevent it?

This is a common issue with Audi A3s and is usually caused by a weak battery. If your car's battery is not holding a charge, it can lead to difficulty starting the car, especially after it has been sitting for a while. It's important to have your battery checked and replaced if needed to prevent this problem.
