Why can't I start my Audi A6 after a long period of inactivity?

I left my Audi A6 unused for over a month and now I can't start it. The battery seems to be fine but the car won't start no matter what I do. What could be the cause of this and how can I fix it?

It is possible that the fuel in your car's tank has gone bad due to sitting for too long. This can cause issues with starting the car. It is recommended to drain the old fuel and refill with fresh fuel.

Another possible cause could be a faulty starter motor. If the starter motor is not functioning properly, it will not be able to turn the engine over and start the car. It is best to have a professional mechanic check and replace the starter if needed.

Your car may also have a security system that can sometimes cause starting issues after a long period of inactivity. Try resetting the security system by locking and unlocking the car with the key fob and then try starting it again.
