Why do Audi cars use Quattro all-wheel drive?

I've noticed that many Audi cars come equipped with Quattro all-wheel drive but I'm not sure why. Can someone explain the benefits and technology behind this feature?

Quattro all-wheel drive provides better traction, stability, and handling in various road and weather conditions. It uses a mechanical center differential to distribute power to all four wheels, continuously adapting to changing conditions.

Audi has been using Quattro all-wheel drive since the 1980s and has continuously improved and advanced the technology. It's known for its reliability and high performance, making it a popular choice for drivers.

Compared to traditional all-wheel drive systems, Quattro uses a proactive rather than reactive approach to distributing power. This results in better acceleration, cornering, and overall driving experience.
