Why do my Audi's brakes squeak when I press them?

I have noticed a high-pitched squeaking sound whenever I apply pressure to my Audi's brakes. It seems to happen more frequently at low speeds. Is this something I should be concerned about?

This squeaking sound is likely caused by dirty or worn brake pads. I recommend having them checked and possibly replaced by a mechanic.

Make sure to check the condition of your brake rotors as well. They may need to be resurfaced or replaced to eliminate the squeaking noise.
