I recently purchased a brand new 2021 Audi A4 and when I put the car in reverse, I hear a clicking noise coming from the back of the car. It only happens while I am reversing and doesn't seem to affect the car's performance. What could be causing this?
ReplyThe clicking noise could be coming from a loose or worn out CV joint. I recommend taking your car to a certified mechanic to have it inspected and replaced if necessary.
I had the same issue with my Audi A4 and it turned out to be a problem with the exhaust system. Take it to the dealership and they should be able to fix it under warranty.
Before taking it to a mechanic, make sure to check the lug nuts on your wheels. Sometimes they can become loose and cause a clicking noise while reversing.
