Why does my Audi A1 make a rattling noise in cold weather?

I have noticed that when the temperature drops below freezing, my Audi A1 starts to make a rattling noise while driving. It seems to go away once the car has warmed up. What could be causing this issue?

The most common cause of rattling noises in colder weather is due to a loose heat shield. These shields are designed to protect your car from excessive heat but can become loose over time. I recommend taking your car to a trusted mechanic to have them inspect and potentially tighten or replace the heat shield.
