Why does my Audi A1's engine sound different after oil change?

I recently got an oil change for my Audi A1 and now the engine sounds different, almost louder and more rattling. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

It is normal for the engine sound to change after an oil change. The new oil may affect the engine's performance and sound temporarily. Just keep an eye on it and if the sound persists or gets worse, bring it back to the mechanic.

I have noticed the same thing with my Audi A1 after an oil change. It usually goes away after a few days. If it doesn't, I suggest consulting a mechanic.

Did you use a different type of oil during the oil change? This could also affect the engine sound. Double check with the mechanic to make sure the right type of oil was used for your specific model.
