Why does my Audi A1's key not turn in the ignition?

I recently bought a used Audi A1 and have been having trouble starting the car. The key inserts into the ignition, but it won't turn. It's been a frustrating experience and I'm not sure what could be causing this issue.

Firstly, make sure you are inserting the key into the ignition correctly. Some Audi models have a specific orientation for the key. If this doesn't work, try using your spare key.

It's possible that the key itself is damaged or worn out. Check for any visible signs of wear and tear, and consider getting a new key made by a certified Audi dealership.

Sometimes, a dead battery can cause issues with the key not turning in the ignition. Try jump-starting your car or replacing the battery to see if this resolves the problem.
