Why does my Audi A2 make a squeaking noise when accelerating?

I have noticed that when I accelerate, my Audi A2 makes a loud squeaking noise. It is not consistent and seems to happen more when the engine is cold. What could be causing this and should I be concerned?

It is possible that your drive belt is loose or worn, causing it to make a squeaking noise when the engine is under load.

I had a similar issue with my Audi A2 and it turned out to be a problem with the pulley system. Have a mechanic check it out for any wear or damage.

Sometimes the squeaking noise can be caused by low power steering fluid. Check and top up if needed.
