Why does my Audi A2's engine fail to start when the temperature is below freezing?

I recently bought a used Audi A2 and I noticed that the engine has trouble starting on cold mornings. Does anyone know what could be causing this issue?

Have you checked your battery? Cold weather can affect the strength of your car's battery, which can lead to difficulty starting the engine. Consider getting your battery checked or replaced if it is old.

It's possible that your spark plugs need to be replaced. Cold temperatures can make it harder for the spark plugs to ignite the fuel in the engine, resulting in difficulty starting. Consider getting your spark plugs checked and replaced if necessary.

Make sure you are using the correct grade of oil for your engine. Using the wrong oil can cause it to thicken in cold temperatures, making it harder to start the engine. Refer to your owner's manual or consult a mechanic for the correct oil grade.
