Why does my Audi A2's engine make a ticking noise at low speeds?

I've noticed that my Audi A2 starts making a ticking noise whenever I'm driving at low speeds, particularly when accelerating. What could be the cause of this?

This ticking noise is likely caused by a worn-out variable valve timing (VVT) solenoid. It is a common issue in Audi A2 engines and can be easily fixed by replacing the solenoid.

The ticking noise could also be due to a faulty engine mount. If the engine mount is worn out or damaged, it can cause the engine to vibrate and create a ticking noise. Have a mechanic check the engine mount and replace it if necessary.
