Why does my Audi A2's engine making a strange knocking noise?

I recently noticed that my Audi A2's engine has been making a strange knocking noise whenever I accelerate. It seems to be coming from the front of the car. What could be causing this and what should I do about it?

The most likely cause of the knocking noise could be low engine oil levels or a worn out engine bearing. You should check your engine oil levels and if they are low, top them up immediately. If the problem persists, it is best to take your car to a mechanic to get the engine bearing checked and possibly replaced.

I had a similar issue with my Audi A2 and it turned out to be a faulty engine belt. If you hear the knocking noise more when turning the steering wheel, it could be the power steering belt. Have a mechanic check all your engine belts and replace any that are damaged or worn out.

I had a similar issue with my Audi A2 and it turned out to be a problem with the fuel injectors. If you notice the knocking noise more when starting the car, it could be a clogged fuel injector. It is best to get them cleaned or replaced by a professional mechanic.
