Why does my Audi A3 make a rattling noise when I accelerate?

I've noticed a strange rattling noise coming from my Audi A3 when I step on the accelerator. It seems to go away once I reach a certain speed and doesn't happen when idling. Any idea what could be causing this?

The most likely cause of this rattling noise is a loose or worn heat shield. This is a common issue with Audi A3s and can easily be fixed by tightening or replacing the heat shield.

Another potential cause could be a faulty engine mount. If the mount is worn or damaged, it can cause the engine to vibrate and create a rattling noise. It's best to have a mechanic inspect and replace the mount if needed.
