Why does my Audi A3 make a whistling noise when I accelerate?

I recently noticed a whistling sound coming from my Audi A3 whenever I accelerate, but it goes away when I let off the gas. What could be causing this noise and how can I fix it?

It is possible that the whistling noise is coming from a leak in your intake system. Check for any cracks or loose connections in the tubes and hoses connected to your air filter and turbocharger.
