Why does my Audi A3's engine overheat when I drive for a long time?

I have a 2015 Audi A3 and I've noticed that when I drive for more than an hour, the engine starts to overheat. Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

The most common cause of overheating in vehicles is a malfunctioning cooling system. Check your coolant levels and make sure there are no leaks in the system. You may also want to consider getting your radiator flushed and replacing the thermostat.

Your Audi A3 may also be overheating due to a faulty water pump. This component is responsible for circulating coolant through the engine, so if it is not working properly, your engine will not be able to maintain a safe temperature. Have a mechanic inspect your water pump and replace if necessary.

Another possible cause of engine overheating is a clogged radiator. Over time, debris and sediment can build up in the radiator, preventing proper circulation of coolant. Have your radiator flushed or replaced to prevent further overheating issues.
