Why does my Audi A4 engine light keep turning on?

I have a 2015 Audi A4 with 50k miles on it. The engine light has been turning on frequently and I've taken it to the mechanic multiple times but they can't seem to find the issue. Even after resetting the light, it turns back on after a day or two. Any advice on what could be causing this and how to fix it?

It's possible that there is an issue with the oxygen sensor in your Audi A4. The sensor helps monitor the oxygen levels in the exhaust and if it becomes faulty, it can trigger the engine light. I would suggest taking it to a different mechanic to have them test the sensor and replace it if necessary.

Another common issue with the Audi A4 is a faulty fuel cap. If the cap is not properly sealed, it can cause the engine light to turn on. Check the cap and make sure it is securely tightened. If the issue persists, it may be worth investing in a new fuel cap.

One possible cause for the engine light to keep turning on is a problem with the catalytic converter. This component helps reduce emissions, but if it becomes damaged or clogged, it can trigger the light. Have a mechanic perform a diagnostic test to determine if the catalytic converter needs to be replaced.
