Why does my Audi A5's engine make a rattling noise when accelerating?

I recently noticed that my Audi A5's engine makes a rattling noise when I accelerate. It seems to go away when the car reaches higher speeds. Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix it?

It's possible that your engine's timing chain has become loose or worn. This is a common issue with Audi A5s and can lead to a rattling noise when accelerating. It's best to have a mechanic inspect and replace the timing chain if necessary.

Another possible cause could be worn out engine mounts. These are responsible for absorbing engine vibrations and if they are worn, can cause rattling noises. Have a mechanic check your engine mounts and replace them if needed.

Have you checked the exhaust system? A loose or damaged exhaust pipe can also cause rattling noises when accelerating. It's important to have a mechanic fix this as it can affect the performance and fuel efficiency of your car.
