Every time I fill up my Audi A5 with gas, a strange noise can be heard coming from the engine. It sounds like a clicking or ticking noise and only lasts for a few seconds. What could be causing this and is it a cause for concern?
ReplyIt is most likely just air bubbles in the fuel line, which is a common occurrence in cars with direct injection systems. This is not something to worry about and should go away after a few seconds.
The noise could also be caused by a loose fuel cap. Make sure to check that the cap is tightened properly after filling up your car. If it continues, then it may be something else.
