Why does my Audi A5's engine shake when accelerating?

Recently, I have noticed that when I step on the gas pedal, my Audi A5's engine starts to shake. The shaking subsides once I am at a steady speed, but it happens every time I accelerate. Any ideas on what could be causing this issue?

Based on the symptoms you described, it sounds like your engine may have a misfire. This can be caused by a number of factors including a faulty spark plug, worn ignition coils, or a clogged fuel filter. I recommend taking your car to a certified mechanic for a diagnostic test to pinpoint the exact cause.

My A5 used to have the same problem and it turned out to be a loose air intake hose. Have you checked all the hoses and connections under the hood? A simple fix could be tightening or replacing a loose hose.

I know it may seem obvious, but have you filled up your gas tank recently? Sometimes when the tank is low, the fuel pump can suck in sediment or debris from the bottom of the tank, causing the engine to shake. Try filling up with a higher quality gasoline and see if that makes a difference.
