Why does my Audi A5 vibrate when braking?

I have been experiencing vibrations when braking with my Audi A5. It seems to be coming from the front wheels but I am not sure what is causing it. Do you have any insights or suggestions on how to fix this issue?

It is possible that your brake pads are worn out and need to be replaced. We recommend taking your car to a certified Audi mechanic for an inspection and potential replacement.

Another common cause of vibrating when braking could be warped brake rotors. This can happen with regular wear and tear or aggressive driving. Consider getting your rotors resurfaced or replaced.

If your Audi A5 has been sitting for a while without being driven, it is possible that rust has built up on the rotors causing them to vibrate when braking. A quick drive around the block and applying the brakes aggressively a few times can help remove the rust and potentially solve the issue.
