Why does my Audi A7's engine make a whistling noise?

Whenever I start my Audi A7, the engine makes a whistling noise that lasts for a few seconds and then disappears. Is this something I should be concerned about?

The whistling noise is most likely caused by a worn out or dirty air filter. It is recommended to have the air filter cleaned or replaced every 10,000-15,000 miles.

It could also be due to a leaking vacuum hose or a malfunctioning vacuum pump. I suggest taking your Audi to a certified mechanic for proper diagnosis and repair.

The whistling noise can also be a sign of a loose or damaged belt. Check the belts under the hood and tighten or replace any that are showing signs of wear.
