Why does my Audi R8 have a high-pitched whistling sound when driving at high speeds?

I recently bought an Audi R8 and have noticed a high-pitched whistling sound when driving at high speeds. It doesn't seem to affect the performance, but it is quite noticeable and concerning. Is this something I should be worried about?
