Why does the Audi A1's engine make a ticking noise when started?

I recently purchased a new Audi A1 and noticed that when I start the engine, there is a ticking noise that lasts for a few seconds. Is this normal or should I have it checked by a mechanic?

The ticking noise is most likely coming from the fuel injectors which are responsible for injecting fuel into the engine. This is a normal sound for many modern engines and nothing to worry about. However, if the noise persists or becomes louder, it is best to have it checked by a mechanic.

A ticking noise during engine start-up can also indicate low oil pressure. It is important to regularly check your oil levels and ensure they are at the recommended level. If the noise continues after filling up the oil, it is best to have it checked by a professional.
