Why is my 1992 Audi 80 overheating?

I have recently noticed that my 1992 Audi 80 is overheating. Within 10-15 minutes of driving, the temperature gauge rises to the red zone and the car makes a strange noise. I recently had the coolant flushed and replaced, so I'm not sure what the issue could be. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Based on your description, it sounds like there may be a problem with your water pump. It's responsible for circulating coolant throughout the engine to prevent overheating. I would recommend getting it checked out by a mechanic as soon as possible.

Have you checked your radiator for any leaks or clogs? This could be causing your overheating issue. It's also possible that your radiator cap is faulty, not allowing the pressure to release properly. Make sure to inspect both of these components.
