Why is my Audi 80 Engine Making a Clicking Sound?

I have been noticing a clicking sound coming from the engine of my Audi 80. It seems to happen mostly when the car is idling or at low speeds. What could be causing this and is it something I should be concerned about?

The clicking sound could be caused by a number of different issues, but the most common cause is usually a malfunctioning valve lifter. This could be due to wear and tear or a lack of proper lubrication. It's important to have this checked out by a mechanic as soon as possible to prevent any further damage to your engine.
