Why is my Audi 80 engine stalling at high speeds?

I have been experiencing issues with my Audi 80 lately. Whenever I drive at high speeds (above 70mph), my engine stalls and I have to pull over to restart. The check engine light also comes on. Can anyone help me figure out why this is happening?

It could be a faulty Mass Air Flow sensor. This sensor measures the amount of air entering the engine and sends that data to the engine control module. If it malfunctions, it can cause the engine to stall.

Another possibility could be a dirty fuel injector. This can cause a lack of fuel to the engine, resulting in stalling. Consider getting them cleaned or replaced if needed.
