Why is my Audi 80's engine making a clicking noise when starting?

I recently noticed that my Audi 80 makes a strange clicking noise when I turn on the engine. It only lasts for a few seconds before disappearing. Is this something I should be concerned about?

It's possible that the clicking noise is coming from your starter motor, which may be a sign of wear and tear or a faulty solenoid. It's best to have a mechanic take a look at it to avoid any potential issues.

Check your battery connections and make sure they are tight. Loose connections can cause a clicking noise when starting the engine. If the problem persists, then it's best to get it checked by a professional.
