I have a 1992 Audi 80 and recently it has started to stall when I come to a stop at a traffic light or stop sign. It starts up fine and drives well otherwise but this stalling issue is causing me a lot of frustration. I'm worried it could be a major problem. Any suggestions on what could be causing this?
ReplyBased on the information provided, it sounds like your Audi 80 may have a faulty idle air control valve. This valve controls the amount of air that flows into the engine when the car is idling. A malfunctioning valve can cause stalling at stops. I recommend taking your car to a certified Audi mechanic to have the valve checked and replaced if necessary.
