Why is my Audi 80 turning off unexpectedly?

My Audi 80 has been randomly turning off while I'm driving. It's really scary and I don't know what to do. Can someone please help me understand why this is happening?

It sounds like you may have a faulty ignition switch. This is a common issue in older Audi 80 models. I recommend taking it to a trusted mechanic to have it inspected and replaced if necessary. It's better to address the issue now rather than risk being stranded on the road.

I had a similar issue with my Audi 80 and it turned out to be a faulty fuel pump. The best course of action would be to have a diagnostic test done at a reputable repair shop. They will be able to pinpoint the exact cause of the problem and provide a solution.

There are a few potential reasons for this issue, including a clogged fuel filter or a bad alternator. I suggest checking these components first before moving on to more complex and expensive solutions.
