Why is my Audi A1 making a clicking noise when I turn the steering wheel?

I recently noticed that my Audi A1 makes a clicking noise when I turn the steering wheel, especially when I'm making sharp turns. What could be causing this and is it something I should be concerned about?

The clicking noise could be coming from a worn or damaged CV joint. It's important to get this checked out by a mechanic as soon as possible, as a damaged CV joint can compromise the handling and safety of your car.

Another possibility is that your power steering fluid is low. Check the fluid level and top it up if needed. If the noise persists, it's best to have it checked by a professional.

If your car is equipped with electric power steering, the clicking noise may be caused by a faulty or worn steering actuator. This should be addressed by a mechanic to prevent further damage.
