Why is my Audi A2 making a clicking noise?

I've noticed that my Audi A2 is making a clicking noise whenever I start it up. It seems to go away after a few seconds, but it's really concerning me. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Is it something I should be worried about? Thanks.

Hi Sophia, the clicking noise could be due to a faulty starter motor or a failing alternator. It's best to get it checked out by a mechanic as soon as possible to avoid any further damage.

Hey Sophia, have you recently had your battery changed? It's possible that the terminals were not tightened properly, causing the clicking noise. Check that first before taking it to a mechanic.

I had a similar issue with my Audi A2 and it turned out to be a loose belt. Get it checked out and tightened if necessary, it's an easy fix.
