Why is my Audi A4 making a grinding noise when I press the brake pedal?

I recently noticed that my Audi A4 is making a strange grinding noise whenever I press the brake pedal. It only happens when I am driving at low speeds and the noise is coming from the front of the car. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It is likely that the brake pads on your Audi A4 have worn out and need to be replaced. The grinding noise is caused by the brake calipers pressing against metal rotors. To fix this issue, take your car to a trusted mechanic who can replace your brake pads and rotors if necessary.

Another possible cause of this issue could be a problem with the brake hardware or components. This could include loose or worn brake calipers, brake hoses, or the brake fluid. I recommend taking your car to a certified mechanic to check and fix any potential issues with the brake system.
