Why is my Audi A4 making a squealing noise when I accelerate?

I recently noticed a high-pitched squealing noise whenever I accelerate in my Audi A4. It seems to go away once I reach a certain speed. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

The most likely cause of this squealing noise is a belt that is worn out or misaligned. You may want to have a mechanic check your serpentine belt and other drive belts to see if they need to be replaced.

Another possible cause could be a loose or damaged pulley. If a pulley is not spinning smoothly, it can cause the belt to make that high-pitched noise. Have a mechanic inspect your pulleys and replace any that are worn or damaged.

Check your power steering fluid levels. If they are low, it could be causing your power steering pump to make noise. Top off the fluid or have it flushed and refilled by a professional.
