Why is my Audi A4's engine making a clicking noise?

I have noticed that my Audi A4's engine is making a clicking noise when I start my car. It seems to go away after a few minutes, but I'm concerned about what could be causing this. Any ideas?

Hi Alex, it's possible that the clicking noise is coming from the valve train. It could be due to lack of lubrication or wear and tear on the components. It's important to get this checked out by a mechanic as soon as possible to avoid any potential damage to your engine.

My Audi A4 had a similar issue and it turned out to be a faulty fuel injector. I would recommend getting your fuel injectors checked to see if they need to be replaced.

It could also be a sign of low oil pressure, which can be caused by a faulty oil pump or clogged oil filter. I would suggest having your oil pressure checked and getting your oil changed if necessary.
