Why is my Audi A6's engine stalling when I come to a stop?

I have noticed that when I come to a stop at a red light or stop sign, my 2019 Audi A6's engine stalls and sometimes even shuts off. What could be causing this issue and how can it be fixed?

There are a few different potential reasons for your engine stalling at a stop. One possibility is a dirty or faulty idle air control valve, which is responsible for regulating the engine's idle speed. Another possibility is a problem with the fuel system, such as a clogged fuel filter or a faulty fuel injector. Additionally, issues with the ignition system, such as a bad spark plug or ignition coil, could also cause stalling. I would recommend bringing your car to a trusted mechanic to diagnose and fix the issue.
