Why is the 1995 Audi 80 losing power while accelerating?

I recently bought a used 1995 Audi 80 and noticed that it doesn't seem to have the power it should while accelerating. The acceleration is very sluggish and there's a noticeable loss of power. Any thoughts on what could be causing this?

It's possible that the air filter is clogged or dirty, restricting airflow and causing the loss of power. Check the air filter and replace if necessary. Also, make sure the fuel filter is clean and replace if needed.
