Why is there a clicking sound coming from my front left wheel on my Audi 80?

I recently noticed a clicking sound coming from the front left wheel of my Audi 80. It only happens when I accelerate and gets louder as I go faster. It also seems to go away when I brake. Has anyone experienced this before and know what could be causing it?

It could be a sign of a worn or damaged CV joint, which connects the drive shaft to the front wheel. It's important to address this issue as soon as possible to avoid further damage.

I had a similar issue with my Audi 80 and it turned out to be a faulty wheel bearing. You should have it checked out by a mechanic as soon as possible.

It could also be an issue with the brake pads. If they are worn or loose, they can cause a clicking sound when the wheel rotates. Have your brakes checked by a professional just to be safe.
