How to adjust the Audi A4's automatic start-stop system?

I recently purchased an Audi A4 and have been noticing the automatic start-stop system turning off and on frequently. Is there a way to adjust this feature to better suit my driving preferences?

To adjust the automatic start-stop system on your Audi A4, press the 'ESP' button located on the center console. This will bring up a menu where you can toggle the start-stop system on or off. Keep in mind, the start-stop system may turn back on if the battery's charge level drops too low.

As a general rule, the automatic start-stop system on the Audi A4 will only deactivate if the engine is not at the correct operating temperature, or if the system detects that the battery needs to be recharged. If you are noticing frequent deactivations, it might be worth having your battery checked.

I have found that the automatic start-stop system on my Audi A4 is less sensitive if I use a high-quality fuel. You may also want to try turning off certain features like the air conditioning or radio to see if that helps with the frequency of the system turning off and on.
