Why is my Audi A3 making a clicking sound while turning?

I recently noticed that my Audi A3 makes a clicking sound when I turn the steering wheel. It seems to be more pronounced when making sharp turns. What could be causing this and is it something I should be concerned about?

The clicking sound you're hearing could be due to a worn out CV joint. It's a common issue in older Audi A3 models. It's important to get it checked and repaired by a mechanic as soon as possible to avoid further damage.

I had the same issue with my Audi A3 and it turned out to be a loose or damaged sway bar link. It's a relatively inexpensive fix, so I would suggest getting it checked by a mechanic.

It's possible that the clicking sound is coming from the power steering pump. It may need to be replaced, but it's best to have a mechanic diagnose the issue to be sure.
