ReplyTo check the engine oil level on an Audi A3, first ensure that the car is on level ground and has been off for at least 10 minutes. Open the hood and locate the yellow oil cap on top of the engine. Remove the cap and wipe the dipstick clean, reinsert it and then remove it again to check the oil level. Make sure the oil level is between the two marks on the dipstick for optimal performance.
