How can I reset the Audi A1 service warning light?

My service indicator light has started flashing on my Audi A1. Is there a way to reset it without taking it to a mechanic?

To reset the service warning light, start by pressing and holding the '0.0' button on your dashboard. While holding the button, turn the key in the ignition to the 'On' position. Continue to hold the button until the service message disappears from the display.
