How do I reset the MMI (Multi Media Interface) in my Audi A6?

I'm experiencing technical difficulties with my MMI in my Audi A6, and I've heard that resetting it can fix many issues. What is the process for doing so, and will it fix my problem?

To reset your MMI, press and hold the MENU button for about 10 seconds, until the MMI reboots. This should fix any minor glitches or issues you may be experiencing.
