How does the e-Tron's electric all-wheel drive system work?

I'm curious about the Audi e-Tron's all-wheel drive capabilities. How does the electric drive system distribute power between the front and rear axles?

The Audi e-Tron uses an electric all-wheel drive system that continuously monitors and optimizes the distribution of power between the front and rear axles. This ensures maximum traction and stability in all driving conditions.

With two electric motors - one on each axle - the e-Tron is able to instantly and continuously adjust the torque distribution between the front and rear wheels. This not only improves traction but also helps with cornering and overall handling.

The e-Tron's all-wheel drive system is not only efficient but also responsive. It can send up to 70% of the available torque to the front wheels or up to 88% to the rear wheels, depending on the driving situation.
