How important is the Audi A8's Quattro all-wheel drive system?

I am in the market for a new luxury car and am considering the Audi A8. I have heard a lot about its Quattro all-wheel drive system and am wondering if it is worth the extra cost. Can someone with experience owning an A8 provide some insight?

As someone who has owned an Audi A8 for several years now, I can tell you that the Quattro all-wheel drive system is definitely worth it. Not only does it provide excellent traction and handling, but it also gives a sense of security and confidence while driving in adverse weather conditions.

I recently made the switch from a rear-wheel drive luxury car to an Audi A8 with Quattro and I can say that it has made a noticeable difference in my day-to-day driving. I feel much more in control and have not experienced any slipping or sliding even in heavy rain.
