I just got my new Audi A1 and I want to make sure the headlights are properly adjusted for the best visibility. How can I do this on my own?

To adjust your Audi A1's headlights, you first need to park on a flat surface facing a wall or garage door. Turn on your headlights and pop the hood, then locate the adjustment screws near the back of the headlight assembly. Use a screwdriver to make vertical adjustments and a wrench to make horizontal adjustments, aiming for a slightly downward angle and keeping the beams parallel to each other. It may take a few tries to find the perfect position for optimal visibility.

If you don't feel comfortable adjusting the headlights yourself, it's always best to have a professional do it for you. Headlights that are not properly adjusted can cause visibility issues for both you and other drivers on the road.

Remember to always adjust your headlights if you change the load in your vehicle. Heavier loads can cause the beams to aim higher, which can be blinding for other drivers. Keeping your headlights properly adjusted not only ensures your own safety but also the safety of others on the road.
