How to check engine oil level in an Audi A4?

I just got an Audi A4 and I want to make sure the engine oil level is at the right level. How can I check it and what level should it be at?

To check the engine oil level in an Audi A4, park your car on a level surface and wait for the engine to cool down. Then locate the oil dipstick, which is usually a brightly colored handle near the engine. Pull the dipstick out and wipe it clean, then reinsert it and pull it out again. The oil level should be between the minimum and maximum marks on the dipstick.
