How to fix a rattling noise in the rear of my Audi 80?

I have been hearing a rattling noise coming from the rear of my Audi 80. It seems to happen mostly when I am going over bumps or uneven roads. Any idea what could be causing this and how I can fix it?

It sounds like the most likely culprit is a loose exhaust shield. This is a common issue in Audi 80s and can be easily fixed by tightening the bolts on the shield. If that doesn't solve the problem, it could be a loose suspension component or even a faulty shock absorber. I would recommend taking your car to a trusted mechanic to have it checked out and properly diagnosed.

I had the same issue with my Audi 80 and it turned out to be a loose heat shield on the exhaust. I was able to fix it myself by using some exhaust clamps to secure it in place. However, if you are not familiar with car repairs, I would suggest taking it to a professional to avoid any potential dangers.

I had this problem with my Audi 80 and after a lot of research, I found out that it could also be caused by worn out bushings in the suspension. If the rattling noise is accompanied by a slight shaking in the car, this could be the issue. I would recommend having the bushings checked and replaced if necessary.
