I recently noticed that one of my headlight bulbs in my Audi A2 is burnt out. How can I easily remove and replace it without having to take it to a mechanic?
ReplyTo remove and replace the headlight bulb in your Audi A2, first make sure the car is turned off and the engine is cool. Then, locate the back of the headlight assembly and twist the back cover counterclockwise to remove it. Once the cover is off, simply twist and remove the old bulb, and insert the new one in its place.
I've found that using a clean cloth or gloves while handling the headlight bulb can prevent any excess oils and dirt from getting on the bulb and causing it to burn out quicker. Don't touch the glass part of the bulb with your bare hands!
If the bulb still isn't working after replacing it, check the fuse for the headlight. It may have blown and needs to be replaced as well. Refer to your Audi A2 manual for the exact location of the headlight fuse.
