How to replace the ignition switch in an Audi 80?

I recently purchased a used Audi 80 and have been having some issues with starting the car. After doing some research, I've determined that it could be a problem with the ignition switch. Can anyone provide me with a step-by-step guide on how to replace it?

First and foremost, make sure to disconnect the negative battery cable before attempting to replace the ignition switch. Then, remove the lower dashboard panel and locate the switch. There will be two screws holding it in place, remove those and disconnect the wiring harness. Replace with a new ignition switch and reconnect the wiring. Don't forget to tighten the screws and reattach the lower dashboard panel.
