How to reset the MMI Navigation System in an Audi A4?

I recently purchased a used Audi A4 and there seems to be a technical issue with the MMI Navigation System. It's not responding to any inputs and shows an error message. Any tips on how to reset it?

To reset the MMI Navigation System in your Audi A4, press and hold down the MMI knob for about 10 seconds. The system will restart and should be functioning properly after.
